Planning, full speed ahead!

My maid of honor is coming into town to help with some wedding stuff. I'm so happy I get to see her! She lives in San Francisco, CA but is actually moving to Tennessee to attend Grad School. Yeah, she's a smarty pants! So proud of her :) This is probably the last time I will see her until July (which is a long time for us) so we are going to VEGAS this weekend to celebrate our birthdays. Mine was a couple weeks ago, and hers is a couple weeks from now. Just a quick trip to soak up the sun and have some much needed R&R.

Back to wedding stuff! We have a few things that we'd like to get done before we leave for our trip. I hope we can get most, if not all, checked off the list!

Here is our plan of attack:

• Find flowers for bouquets
• (Hopefully, time willing) Make bouquets
• Label "Save the Dates" and pop in mail
• Find shoes to go with the bridesmaid dresses
• Finalize guest lists for bachelorette(s) & bridal shower(s)

Easter Sunday at Quest Field and Whit's Baptism

wow today was crazy! and lots of fun. our church Mars Hill rented out quest field for the morning for one giant church wide service. I heard there were over 17,000 people there and 20 baptism pools lined up infront of the stage. Our goal was to baptize 500 and im sure we reached that goal possibly even more. Whitney was one of them here is a video and a couple pictures from the day.

Save the Dates!

Here is a preview of our "Save the Date" cards. We decided to go with a postcard to cut down on the hassle of sticking literally hundreds of them (yes, we have a big guest list :/ it's inevitable! I have a very large family) in individual envelopes.

Engagement photos!

I have a friend who's an aspiring photographer and offered to take our engagement photos, for free! It was incredibly kind and sweet of her to take time out of her day to do this for us. She wouldn't even let us buy her lunch! Hopefully she AT LEAST got some good photographs to add to her portfolio ;)

She sent me the pictures within a couple hours after taking them. I was amazed at how talented she is! Natural talent.  Thank you so much Laura!

So for those of you who don't know... Kevin is an artist, and a pretty amazing one if you ask me ;)

He made this header himself of us fighting "He who must not be named". Pretty frickin' wicked!

So like Kevin said I found my wedding dress in the very first shop! It's so pretty. It was the first moment where I actually felt like I was getting married. I'm going to be a bride! Can't even tell you how excited I am.
