Harry Potter

I'm not sure about Kevin, but I have been absolutely head over heals in love with the Harry Potter stories since I was 11. I am a self proclaimed "Harry Potter freak." Believe it or not, I even have a HP tattoo. Obsessed? You bet your booty I am!

Last night, Kevin and I went to the midnight showing of the last and final movie of Harry Potter.  This was our third HP premiere together and we wanted to go out with a bang!

I dressed up as Luna Lovegood (She's my favorite aside from Ron)

My costume consisted of Ravenclaw attire, my wand, spectrespecs, radish earrings, and a Quibbler that I made :)

Jessi came with us to the last HP premiere and it was fun to have her with us again!
She dressed as Hermione :)
I let her use my Gryffindor robes, the wand the Kevin carved me when we first started dating <3, and I made her one of Hermione's favorite books from the Wizarding World.

Kevin was just a normal Hogwarts student in the house of Gryffindor ;)

Here's a pic of the two of us together.
I love him so much!

Seeing my old friends on the big screen for the last time was bittersweet. Although saying goodbye was emotional, I still had an incredible time. I'm excited for the day where I can relive these inspiring stories through my future children's eyes. I hope they love it as much as I do :)

Weekend of Relaxation

Kevin and I had an extremely low key and relaxing weekend. It was so nice! We took advantage of the beautiful weather on Saturday by grabbing lunch and taking it to Alki Beach. We sat on a bench and enjoyed our food, the sun, and each others company :) Here's a couple pics:

I was giving a thumbs up but Kevin didn't capture my thumb in the photo. So now it looks like I'm punching my food. I assure you, I would never ever do such a horrendous thing ;)

Satan's saliva O.o

Hey everyone so this year we celebrated the 4th of July on the second. already had a ton of fun and the weekend isn't even over yet.  but I wanted to share with you a new drink that Scott made up appropriately named Satan's Saliva.

Soon after Scott arrived he said that he had a new game for us to play and that you had to say weather you were in or out and that the game was called Satan's saliva and that's all you got to know before anything else happened. Fortunately for me I chose not to participate. I think this is something he must have been planning for some time prior.

after Tim, Dan, and Justine were volunteered (not sure if they actually agreed or not)  Scott quickly explained that Satan's Saliva is a game where you take a bubble shot. if you don't know what that is here is a diagram to help you visualize.
so the bubble shot is a 2 sectioned shot glass. first you fill the bottom chamber full of something yummy to chase down the shot of alcohol that goes in the top chamber. THERE IS NOTHING YUMMY IN SATAN'S SALIVA!!! the shot consists of ever clear on top chased by hot damn on the bottom :X. Scott quickly mixed the drinks and then passed them out to his victims.
All of these guys can hold their alcohol as good as I have ever seen. Despite their tolerance this drink jacked them up pretty bad. I have never seen someone get so plastered so fast in my life. immediately after consumption everyone felt very sick. Immediately Tim and Dan started frothing at the mouth and making sick faces.
Surprisingly enough no one threw up. but within 10 minutes they went from sober to plastered and within 20 minutes they were both put into a short coma.
we tried yelling and screaming Dan's name but I'm  pretty sure he was not present inside of his body for the duration of his coma. Scott and Justine got sloshed to but were not as jacked as Dan and Tim.

It was pretty hilarious and I am sure glad it wasn't me.  I'd write more but everyone outside is having fun without me so ill write/draw more for you all later!

Date Night At The Olive Garden

So me and Whit decided to go out to the olive garden for a date on Friday night. We had a lot of fun and good conversation. We wanted to take some pictures for this post but we forgot so i decided to make some very accurate and realistic pictures of us that night for you guys.

here is Whit and I posing by the restaurant sign while waiting in line for our table. It was crazy how many people were waiting there when we arrived! I think we waited about a half an hour perhaps more to be seated but it was way way worth the wait.

once we sat down we ordered some sodas and a plate of artichoke dip IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOOOD!
once we finished that i was already feeling kinda full but we still had the main course to go! I got chicken Alfredo and whit got some kind of fish dish that was also very tasty. Here is what you would have seen had you been there.
Whit munching on some noms all neat and dainty like making her food look delicious
and here is what I was doing.

thanks Roger and Jamie for the gift certificate we had such a wonderful time!

Love you guys

Wedding officiant, Kevin's wedding band, and bouquets!

This weekend was action packed (as usual).

Kevin took Friday off and we drove down to Portland to meet with our wedding officiant Pastor Branden. We met for coffee and had a great time getting to know him a little better. Kevin and I want to keep our wedding short, sweet, slightly humorous, and most importantly Christ centered. Branden is the perfect guy for the job and we are both so excited for him to marry us! (Branden, if you're reading this - holla!)

After coffee, Kevin and I ventured over to a jewelry store to buy Kevin's wedding band! The lady that worked there was so helpful explaining all of the different types of metals and the pro's and con's of each. Kevin chose a gold ring with a silver stripe. It looks so nice on his finger!

Here's a look!

I wish he could wear it right now :)

We checked off a few other items on our list and then decided it was time to hit the road and head back home.

On Saturday we had TONS to do! I'm not joking, we had to go to 5 different stores to exchange and purchase things and also try to squeeze in a hair cut for Kev. After all that madness was taken care of, my sister-in-law had us over to drink wine and arrange the flowers for the bouquets.

Here's a couple pics from the evening:

Kevin acting like a princess with some of the flowers :P

Stephie!

Mmmmm wine :)

Thankfully today (Sunday) is uneventful and we can just relax. That's what you're supposed to do on the Sabbath, right?

Happy Sunday everyone!
God bless!
