The Hart's are buying their first home!

Exciting news...the Hart's are buying a townhouse! We are so excited to not have to rent anymore and make a small investment. It is so adorable and we cannot wait to move in :)

Goodbye 2011

Awesome events in 2011

• Whitney enrolled in school and has been kicking major booty in all her classes ;) 
• Got to visit the Promised Land (aka The Wizarding World of Harry Potter)
• Kevin proposed!
• Whitney's baptism 
• Our good friends Kimberly & Ryan and Sarah & Greg got married :)
• 8-12-2011, we tied the knot!
• Cousin Tim & his wife Karine gave birth to the most beautiful little girl, Ava Elizabeth
• Kevin got an awesome new job

We have so much to be thankful for. God has truly blessed us with amazing friends and family. Thank you to all who made 2011 such an incredbile and memorable year.

The Holiday's

Kevin and I had a great Christmas weekend! We headed over the mountain pass to visit both of our families in Spokane. We ate great food, drank delicious drinks, and laughed at endless jokes.

We spent New Years at home together. I made Kevin his favorite baked chicken dish, mashed potatoes, and a garden salad. We washed that all down with mimosas. Mmmmm yummy :)

Due to us not having a camera, no photographs were captured by us :( However, we did splurge on a combined gift for each other and treated ourselves to a new camera :) Should come in the mail soon, woo hoo!

It's a book box set! From the Library of Hogwarts: "Quidditch Through the Ages" & "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" by J.K. Rowling.

What can I say? My husband knows me well ;)

CHRISTMAS!

I love Christmas. L-O-V-E, love! It's such a magical time! All the beautiful lights and decorations, the delicious smells, and the sound of Christmas music in every store you walk into. With that being said, I was super excited for Kevin and I to get our first tree together :)

The photo quality isn't that great because I took it on my phone :/ Hopefully Kevin and I can get a nice camera sometime soon 

I don't have very many Christmas decorations. Just a small bin full of ornaments and other items to dress the tree with. But, as I walked into church this morning, I was struck with inspiration! Candle filled mason jars lined the windows and shelves. I fell in love with this simple yet festive look.

I'm hoping to stock up on Christmas decorations after the holidays when they are all 50-70% off :) Hopefully I find some neat stuff!

Halloween with the Hart's

Kevin and I went out with a few of our friends to celebrate Halloween. Kevin and I dressed up as Hermione and Harry Potter (big surprise, right?).
