Some Professional Wedding Pics

Hi!

I've been meaning to post some of our awesome wedding pictures, but alas, time escapes me.  I can't post them all because there are over 400 of them! So, here are some of my favorites :) You can click on them to make them bigger.

Our photographer is a fantastic guy who is so talented! Feel free to check out his other work on his website www.bryanaulick.com

Have a great weekend!

Life lately :)

We have been so busy. I know I say this all the time, but this time it's fo real. No messin' around!

Kevin works between 50-55 hours a week. On top of that he is involved in a couple church groups, one of which we host at our house every week.

I'm in school, still taking care of my aunt Joy, working 20-25 hours a week at another job, hosting our community group at our house weekly, trying to keep the house clean, cooking meals, running errands, you name it - I do it! But, no complaining here...I love it! Being busy is great :)

A little update of what's been going on...

My cousin Tim and his wife Karine had their little bundle of joy on Friday October 7th at 2:45 PM. I can't even describe how beautiful she is. She is the prettiest new born I have ever seen.

Everyone meet Ava Elizabeth :)

Last weekend my cousin Vanessa, Kevin and I went to a dueling piano bar called Piano Bash in downtown Bellevue. It's been a few years since I've been to one of these places, and I forgot how much fun they were! The two performers were so talented and hilarious that my stomach and cheeks hurt from laughing so much.

Here's us before we hit the town!

On another note, we got the wedding pictures from our professional photographer so I should be making a post about that in the next couple weeks.

Love you guys!

Honeymoon

After the wedding we spent a few days in our home town. We spent the night at the Davenport (a gift from Kevin's parents) and it was absolutely beautiful! It was by far the nicest room that I have ever stayed in and probably will stay in for a long time. They treated us to the "Bridal Suite" which was the nicest room that they had. It was huge! It had a California king bed (so comfy!), big jucuzzi tub, fireplace, huge shower...I could go on forever. We had a great time :)

We loved the matching robes :)

Later that week we went to Silverwood with our good friends Kristin, Lauren, and Tyler. I forgot how tiring that could be. We ended the day at Boulder beach, and I fell asleep in the sun while everyone else played in the water...

The day after that we were headed to Depoe Bay, Oregon for the duration of our honeymoon. We rented a one bedroom condo literally right on the water.

It was so relaxing. Just what we needed after months of planning a wedding :)

God Bless!

Reception

Sorry it took me so long to post more. The Hart House has been super busy with getting Kevin moved in and putting all our stuff away. Anywho, now on to the reception! (Keep in mind, these are not our professional photographers pictures. I will make another post of those after I get them.)

After the ceremony we snuck away to sign the marriage certificate to make it official! Then to have our photographer take some photos of us together soaking up the moment :)

My Maid of Honor (Rebekka) and my sister and law/bridesmaid (Stephanie) drove Kevin and I in a golf cart decorated in balloons of or wedding colors for our grand entrance. Haha, it was so funny!

I love them!

Right after we got off the cart, we were told to start the buffet line so that everyone else could get grubbin'. Ya'll know that Kevin and I love to eat, so we were happy to do so! My parents hired a local catering business to do the food. The theme was "Italian Honeymoon". It was delicious!

Here we are attempting to eat...

There was so much going on that I only got a couple bites. But that's okay, because I had a wicked time! Once most of our guests had gotten through the buffet line, it was time to do all the traditional stuff.

Our first dance.
We danced to "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Not your typical slow and romantic first dance, but we tend to march the beat of our own drum and it's always been "our song" :)

Next was the father-daughter dance. My dad and I danced to "Black bird" by the Beatles. Sadly, I don't have a picture of that at the moment. We both had crazy red eyes in all of the ones I could find :\ I'm sure our photographer got a few good ones though :)

Next was the cake cutting, although there wasn't much "cutting" involved. Instead of having a wedding cake, we had a cupcake tower :) Kathy and her friend were kind enough to make all 250 of them and they looked and tasted wonderful (Thanks Kathy!).

Our toppers were so cute & hand painted! :)
We ordered them off of www.etsy.com (Best site in the world)

Here is a pic of the cake smashing :) I got Kev really good.. hehe

Then it was time to dance the night away!

Groom lift!

Bride lift! They carried me for the entire song, haha. So much fun!
(P.S. It kind of looks like I am flipping everyone the bird, but I promise I am not) :)

Although I wanted to stay, Kevin convinced me to leave around 1:30AM ;) I can't describe the feeling I had when we were being driven down my parents driveway. Excited to open a new chapter and share my life with Kevin, but a little sad to close the other leave my childhood behind. I cheered up about the time that we rolled up to the hotel and Kevin carried me over the threshold like a champ :)

It was the most incredible night and I will never forget it. Thank you to everyone who came and made it so special for Kevin and I. We could not be happier!

Blessings,
Mrs. Hart
